Highlights (opportunities I've had, I couldn't have otherwise done without music):- Toured Norway & Sweden, at the early age of 13, with Columbia Girls' Choir. Highlight performances include Edvard Grieg's home & music center in Bergen, Norway; the royal cathedral in Oslo, Norway, and visiting/singing with the prestigious Adolf Frederick School Choirs in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Toured England & Wales with the Columbia Girls' & Boys' Choirs. Highlights include: rehearsal with the Westminster Abbey Choir Director; placing 4th in our category at the prestigious International Eisteddfodd Competition in Llangollen, Wales; placing 2nd in the Bournemouth Music Festival in Bournemouth, England; performing in old chapels & churches.
- Toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, & France with Cascade Youth Symphony. Performed in old cathedrals and community music halls.
- Toured Italy, Switzerland, and Paris, France with the Cascade Youth Symphony. Highlights: performed in Luxembourg Gardins in Paris; performed at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, performed at a jazz festival in a villa in Rome.
Miscellaneous highlights:I've sang backup to Anne & Nancy Wilson with their Lovemongers band at a concert, performed Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Seattle Orchestra, sang on the Christmas ships, and studied everything from Mozart, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Bernstein, Strauss, Gershwin, Dvorak, Chopin, etc. My whole point, I couldn't have done this well in music without grasping a solid foundation on piano. I firmly believe it all starts with piano. And boy, it was fun times! You could have an amazing career in music too! It all starts with a great teacher and fun lessons.
